The artwork Trois couleur: rouge, blanc, vert condenses Marcell Esterházy's conceptual thinking and subtle irony. He has placed three objects in a row: a 1956 ECG scan of his great-grandmother (red), a felt-tip pen drawing he drew as a child with the word "Minden" [everything] scribbled out in the corner (white), and a response letter to his great-grandmother's request for permission from the local authority to paint the fence of the former family castle seized by the state with green paint and a used paintbrush (green).
